More Kao Yai

Here we tried our first Thai wine, a ‘night harvested’ 2007 red which was delicious (we bought a few cases) and had no hang-over effect! Brilliant. The first night we sat up together (After the kitchen was closed at 9pm!) and bribed the night secuirty to open the cellar and tuck into the stock. Two bottles later we trolloped down the hill to our room.

I hope my parents and brother are reading this post, because they would love the national park. Even I was impressed with how well it was run. It’s rather pricey for foreigners (R200 per adult) but if you show a work permit it goes down to (R12!) brilliant.
