One morning in Shanghai

5:30am is always a good time to explore the area without cars or busy pavements. The French Concession is no exception.
Beautiful contrasting landscapes as enormous sky rises tower above parks and traditional lane houses. Street sellers lay out live fish, prawns, cockles, crabs, veggies and fruit and scream prices at the top of their lungs.

An old man doing Tai Chi in the park while a group of old women do ‘granny aerobics’ – copying the movements of a much younger man dressed all in white.
